Sunday listening. Kicking it off with some Allison Weiss and run,WALK!, then catching up with some stuff. Looking forward to hearing some Sometimes Walking, Sometimes Running thanks to seeing footage of them in the Between Resistance And Community Long Island DIY documentary a few years ago. Same goes to Kittyhawk as they’re the first band on Evan from II.OI’s new label (unless I have that totally wrong and confused with someone else). Also it’s been forever since I’ve listened to sfortuna, I wasn’t that in to it at first but have since fallen for Ormai so I’m gonna give it another try. Haven’t listened to The Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower for ages either. Well, Dissertation, Honey gets semi-regular plays still, but I was never that in to their second one so I’m pretty keen to give it another chance. And I’m finally gonna listen to Panda Love Unit, Alexei’s band from before Johnny Foreigner. Though the very first Johnny Foreigner demo/album kind of sucks so I’m not holding out too much hope. Maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
